Why should I bother reading this?

You’re a busy and successful person. So, of the 175,000 new blogs and business tips that are created daily, why bother with another one? To put it bluntly, who is this Ed Madison guy? What is Engaging Media? And do they really have something to offer me that will impact my ability to make more money and experience a higher quality of professional and personal achievement?

Fair questions. None of us needs more emails cluttering our inbox. But we can all benefit from sound insights that will assist us in growing our businesses and enhancing our lives.

In a career that spans more than thirty years (I really want to stop counting), I’ve had the pleasure of contributing to the success of many of the biggest names, television networks, motion picture studios and record companies in the entertainment industry. The media business has been a gift that just keeps giving.

Along the way I’ve had the fortune of collecting an amazing group of colleagues, friends, and mentors that are now at the top of their game. We survived corporate shake-ups, labor strikes, flux in the economy, personal challenges – you name it – to see a better day. We literally grew up together. Life at this stage isn’t so much about “getting there” anymore. Secure in our own success, it’s time to give back.

Today, at Engaging Media, our team’s joy comes from sharing our expertise with emerging professionals and personalities who are committed to making their mark. This twice-weekly Branding You! feature promises to inform and inspire you with fresh and essential insight into how to enhance your own personal brand. We’ll tackle topics ranging from product packaging to gaining more media exposure to negotiating higher fees. We encourage you to share this with your colleagues and associates. Look for updates on every Tuesday and Thursday morning. Next time we explore ways of creating more passive income. Stay tuned!
